Black Cow Bath Streusel - Small Batch Root Beer, Vanilla Ice Cream... Summer Limited Edition
Black Cow Bath Streusel
Spicy, effervescent small batch root beer poured over luscious home made vanilla ice cream
Cool formica counters, chrome bar stools, & the clink of long handled spoons diving into tall frosted glasses... There are few summer treats finer than escaping the heat for half an hour & retreating to the air conditioned comfort of a real ice cream parlor. There was one down the road from us when I was in high school & I worked there on & off for a few months, scooping ice cream & blending extra thick milkshakes & never forgetting the signature pretzel twists in each sundae. The ice cream was home made, dense & creamy, & the root beer was an old family recipe, served in heavy glass mugs we kept in the freezer. Black Cow is just as fizzy, sweet, creamy, & nostalgic, laced with sassafras, allspice, black pepper, & Madagascar vanilla beans...
Bath Streusel is a moist, crumbly treat for your tub!
Bath lovers, rejoice! At last, a product packed with skin-loving butters plus all the fizz & bubble of your favorite bath bombs & bubble bars! Bath Streusel is a delightful mashup of bath melt, bubble bar & bath bomb, in your favorite Paintbox scents. Add a handful to the tub as you run a nice hot bath & watch the bubbles grow! Once in the tub, you'll get the benefit of water-softening baking soda & citric acid, plus silky arrowroot powder & a gentle surfactant. I add a ton of organic cocoa butter & mango butter & a drizzle of rice bran oil to pamper your skin, leaving you feeling undeniably soft & smelling fantastic!
Many bubble baths & bars use harsh surfactants to make big bubbles - great for washing dishes, not so great for your delicate skin. I use sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, a very mild, gentle surfactant that gives great bubbles without wreaking havoc on your skin.
This listing is for one 6.6-ounce jar of Bath Streusel, enough for 3-4 baths. It's blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or shea butter (for my sensitive customers). Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too!
I pack Bath Streusel in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Arrowroot Powder, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Organic Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Fragrance Oil, Cocoa Powder, Sugar-Based Decos
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from jar to jar.
To prolong the life of your Bath Streusel, keep it tightly sealed & avoid introducing any water to the jar. A clean plastic spoon is ideal for scooping out just the right amount :)
Please use Bath Streusel within 3 months of opening, & discontinue use if irritation occurs. The butters & oils in Bath Streusel will leave your tub a bit slippery, so do be careful :)

I don't know how, but this scent actually smells cold and fizzy, like a soft drink! It's not A&W root beer; it's smells more herbal and refreshing. The vanilla is in the background. The bath streusel itself is always fun to use and makes a for a luxurious experience.
