Bookkeeper's Butter Intense Hand and Cuticle Salve with Pink Grapefruit and Litsea Essential Oils
Bookkeeper's Butter Intense Hand and Cuticle Salve
Having worked as a book seller back in the proverbial day, I know all too keenly the havoc a paper-based job can have on one's hands. It sucks the moisture out of your skin, leaving your fingers raw, cracked, and downright miserable. Accountants, librarians, archivists, graduate students, fellow book sellers... this one's for you.
Bookkeeper's Butter to the rescue! Packed with nourishing shea butter & a panoply of skin-pampering oils, Bookkeeper's Butter is an intense hand & cuticle treatment for desperate times. I selected a very specific range of oils for maximum absorption speed, meaning Bookkeeper's Butter won't leave you stuck with greasy fingers when you need to get back to work. Gently scented with uplifting pink grapefruit & litsea essential oils, a little Bookkeeper's Butter goes a really long way - just a tiny dab massaged into dry, cracked skin & cuticles provides instant, non-greasy moisture. It can also pull double-duty as an intense lip balm. The jar might seem small, but it will go the distance! This particular formulation is vegan-friendly, using plant-based candelilla wax & no preservatives. The vitamin E oil will protect against oxidation, but please, keep Bookkeeper's Butter away from excess heat, & be sure to use dry clean hands to apply.
This listing is for a dense 1.8 ounces of Bookkeeper's Butter, blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or synthetic fragrance oils. I pack Bookkeeper's Butter in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) Butter, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Prunus armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Persea Americana (Avocado) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Litsea cubeba (Litsea) Oil, Citrus paradisi (Grapefruit) Oil
Butter up, buttercup!

This stuff is magic for winter hands. I keep my little jar on my desk and use it for knuckles, cuticles, and nails (and occasionally the end of my nose so it doesn't get chapped from too many tissues), and the citrus scent is a definite pick-me-up. It absorbs fairly quickly, too.
A Winter Must-Have!

I keep this is my car and rub it into my cuticles before I drive off. That way, It's absorbed by the time I get where I'm going! No more nasty hangnails!

This is a lifesaver for my hands, especially in the winter. It's very moisturizing but not greasy. A little goes a long way. The grapefruit scent is so refreshing.
