Calling the Storm Luxury Glycerin Soap - Scorched Herbs, Hot Dust, Ozone, Thunder... Summer Limited Edition
Calling the Storm Luxury Glycerin Soap
Sun scorched weeds & hot dust, fields of barley rippling in the wind, the sharp tang of ozone, & the distant rumble of thunder
They stood in the lurid summer haze, feet planted wide on the low stone wall, hands raised to the horizon. The lazy smell of herbs dried & gone to seed & the whine of insects rose from the fields, hot & heavy & stupefying, but they sharpened their gaze & pulled at the flat, dull sky. From far across the plain came a tremble, then a rush, then a wall of wind, whipping the pale ocean of barley into a frenzy & billowing their hair about them, the air suddenly cool & muscular & electric. Dark clouds boiled up from the edge of the world, mounting the sky, consuming the white hot disc of the sun, an iron grey sea surging high over the fields. They filled their lungs with the scent of the storm, piercing & strange, & as the first fat drops of rain slapped against hot stones, they leapt from the wall & were gone.
This listing is for a huge 6 ounce bar of luxurious glycerin soap, hand cast in small batches with no SLS, propylene glycol, parabens, animal products or other funny stuff! Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too!
My bars produce gorgeous, abundant lather & have unique scents that cling gently to your skin. You'll be left feeling clean & smelling wonderful :)
I hand-wrap each bar in cellophane, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer), Oat protein (conditioner), Fragrance Oil, Mica, Iron Oxide
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar.

I originally got this soap as a sample in one of my orders (the shop owner is SO GENEROUS!) and I was hooked from the second I smelled it. It's sort of a dusty, aged smell. The lather is soft and fluffy, not drying, and the scent lingers on your skin for a little after the shower. I would LOVE more items in this range--it's such a shame it's a limited time item!
