Halcyon Slip Organic Hand and Body Lotion
A rich, sepia-toned blend of aged oak & teakwood, sweet honeysuckle, golden vanilla & ripe pear
Warm lamp light, gleaming oak floors, the quiet stillness of a spring evening spent curled in the parlour with a good book & fine company. Halcyon was inspired by a beautiful piece of music, a score written by Rachel Grimes to accompany a silent film originally made in 1938. The film follows a family as they go about their day, doing nothing more remarkable than eating, gardening, working, living their lives together. It is beautiful in its simplicity, as is Rachel's music. I wanted to capture that feeling of quiet abundance, of home & hearth, of happiness in simple things.
Halcyon begins with a base of oak & vanilla that I've aged for nearly two years. Blended with exotic teakwood, feminine honeysuckle blossoms & sweet ripe pear, it's an unusual but inviting scent that wears so beautifully...
Slip is a satiny hand & body lotion that absorbs quickly, leaving your skin soft & delightfully scented. This listing is for a 4 ounce bottle of delicious hand & body lotion made with 85% organic ingredients. It's packed with nourishing aloe, oils & botanical extracts, & is certified vegan. Slip is is paraben-free, -cone-free, & contains no propylene glycol or mineral oil. Most of my scents are phthalate-free, too.
I searched long & hard for a lotion formula that would moisturize without leaving a greasy, messy film. Slip is light-weight enough to apply on the go, but it hydrates & softens for hours. Slip is blended in small batches & packaged in recyclable bottles with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
