Le Citronnier Hot Process Soap
Sun-soaked lemon orchards abuzz with bees & threaded with rows of French lavender
Escape to the continent, at least for the length of your shower... Le Citronnier is a white table cloth spread under well tended lemon trees, full of tiny green fruit and the promise of a brilliant yellow harvest to come. It's the scent of citron tarts & fizzy lemonade packed in a hamper, sprigs of soft lavender buds tucked behind your ear, & a glorious afternoon wandering shaded lanes working up an appetite for a leisurely dinner under the trees. C'est bon, la vie!
This listing is for one (1) enormous 5.5-ounce bar of hot process soap, made from scratch by me in my own workshop. If you find glycerin soaps a bit too drying, this is the bar for you. I've spent several months developing a coconut- & shea-free, vegan formula that lathers beautifully & is packed with nourishing vegetable oils & butters. I make my hot process soap in small batches, & allow each batch to cure for 3 weeks to ensure a firm, mild bar. Each hand-cut bar measures 3x3x1 inches, & weighs approximately 5.5 ounces.
As always, your soap will arrive hand-wrapped, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Water, Olive Oil, Organic & Sustainable Palm Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Mango Seed Butter, Castor Oil, Organic Palm Kernel Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Avocado Oil, Sugar, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Litsea Cubeba (Litsea) Oil, Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Oil, Mica
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. Hot process soap has a marbled, natural appearance. Streaks, swirls & blobs are all part of the charm, & in no way affect the quality of your soap :)
