Lemony Biscuit Bath Streusel - Lemon Cream Cookies, Lemon Thyme, Nutmeg... Spring Limited Edition
Lemony Biscuit Bath Streusel
Tart lemon cream cookies with freshly ground nutmeg & a touch of lemon thyme
"No, no, darling, it's not pronounced 'Biscuit', it's 'Bis-quee'. We're French, don't you know..." Part Hyacinth Bucket, part Eddie Monsoon, Lemony Biscuit has no idea who she really is, but she's got her pinkie in the air & an air of charm & gentility, so that must count for something. Never mind that sandwich cookies aren't exactly exotic fancies...
I've had so many requests for a lemon scent for the spring, but this isn't dish liquid lemon. Lemony Biscuit smells of the perfect lemon cream cookie, tart & lemony & buttery, with that unmistakably cool, sweet filling. I've added a bit of warm nutmeg & a tiny bit of herby thyme for some interest, but don't be fooled - Lemony Biscuit is all about the cookies, darling.
Bath Streusel is a moist, crumbly treat for your tub!
Bath lovers, rejoice! At last, a product packed with skin-loving butters plus all the fizz & bubble of your favorite bath bombs & bubble bars! Bath Streusel is a delightful mashup of bath melt, bubble bar & bath bomb, in your favorite Paintbox scents. Add a handful to the tub as you run a nice hot bath & watch the bubbles grow! Once in the tub, you'll get the benefit of water-softening baking soda & citric acid, plus silky arrowroot powder & a gentle surfactant. I add a ton of organic cocoa butter & mango butter & a drizzle of rice bran oil to pamper your skin, leaving you feeling undeniably soft & smelling fantastic!
Many bubble baths & bars use harsh surfactants to make big bubbles - great for washing dishes, not so great for your delicate skin. I use sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, a very mild, gentle surfactant that gives great bubbles without wreaking havoc on your skin.
This listing is for one 6.6-ounce jar of Bath Streusel, enough for 3-4 baths. It's blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or shea butter (for my sensitive customers). Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too!
I pack Bath Streusel in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Arrowroot Powder, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Organic Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Fragrance Oil, Litsea Cubeba (Litsea) Oil, Mica, Sugar-Based Decorations
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from jar to jar.
To prolong the life of your Bath Streusel, keep it tightly sealed & avoid introducing any water to the jar. A clean plastic spoon is ideal for scooping out just the right amount :)
Please use Bath Streusel within 3 months of opening, & discontinue use if irritation occurs. The butters & oils in Bath Streusel will leave your tub a bit slippery, so do be careful :)
I'M NEVER GETTING OUT OF THE TUB

I would like to pretend this streusel came into existence because of me. I asked on the FB group for a citrus-y bath steusel, and Hayley mentioned a couple of options. Now, naturally she must have been working this idea long before my FB request, but the result here is so spectacular and nummy that I'm going to pretend it was alllll me.
In all seriousness, this scent is fabulous. Tart with lemon but sweet with the touch of cookies and nutmeg. This is hands-down one of my favorite scents ever.
