Lemony Biscuit Soy Wax Melts - Lemon Cream Cookies, Lemon Thyme, Nutmeg.. Limited Edition
Lemony Biscuit Soy Wax Melts - great re-sealable packaging!
Tart lemon cream cookies with freshly ground nutmeg & a touch of lemon thyme
"No, no, darling, it's not pronounced 'Biscuit', it's 'Bis-quee'. We're French, don't you know..." Part Hyacinth Bucket, part Eddie Monsoon, Lemony Biscuit has no idea who she really is, but she's got her pinkie in the air & an air of charm & gentility, so that must count for something. Never mind that sandwich cookies aren't exactly exotic fancies...
I've had so many requests for a lemon scent for the spring, but this isn't dish liquid lemon. Lemony Biscuit smells of the perfect lemon cream cookie, tart & lemony & buttery, with that unmistakably cool, sweet filling. I've added a bit of warm nutmeg & a tiny bit of herby thyme for some interest, but don't be fooled - Lemony Biscuit is all about the cookies, darling.

Not very strong.

Usually 2 cubes of a wax melt will last me for weeks, but these smelled very faint and only lasted for a couple hours over a period of two days before I couldn't smell them anymore. They were light even while they did last, and I think I wanted this to be more of a cookie/cake lemon than it is. It's more of a fresh, bubbly lemon with a strong herbal note from the thyme. Not my favorite.
