Perdita Sorbetto Emulsifying Sugar Scrub
Pale carnation, woodland violet, tender orange blossom & the vanilla musk of alpine orchids
A feminine tumble of sweet musk & Shakespearean flowers, Perdita hides a royal heart... Delicate neroli & cool violet are underscored by a trace of tea leaf & moss, warmed by deep burgundy nigritella (the black vanilla orchid), gilded by creamy pink clove-scented carnation petals. Perdita is the scent of unaffected beauty, a wreath of wildflowers in a maiden's hair as she dances with her love, unaware of the life that awaits her...
Sorbetto is a delightfully malleable, scoopable sugar scrub fortified with nourishing rice bran, avocado & grape seed oils & luxurious mango butter. Massaged into wet skin, it emulsifies into a light, creamy lotion that gently cleanses, polishes & moisturizes, leaving you feeling deliciously soft & smelling wonderful :)
This listing is for a generous 11 ounces of emulsifying sugar scrub, blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or shea butter (for my sensitive customers). Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too! I don't whip my scrubs, so you get a jar packed with product, not air.
I pack Sorbetto in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Sucrose (Sugar), Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sorbitol, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Sodium Chloride (Salt), Fragrance Oil, Phenoxyethanol & Tetrasodium EDTA (paraben-free preservatives), Mica
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from jar to jar.
To prolong the life of your Sorbetto, keep it tightly sealed & avoid introducing excess water to the jar. A clean plastic spoon is ideal for scooping out just the right amount :)
Please use Sorbetto within 3 months of opening, & discontinue use if irritation occurs. I specifically blend Sorbetto not leave a greasy film, but it may leave your tub a bit slippery, so do be careful :)
As Complex In Layers As Her Namesake

In the jar, Perdita is a deceptively simple creamy sweet floral but once I started to use the scrub I could also detect a soft, spicy green and gentle whiffs of orange blossom. It's incredibly layered and reminds me of a delicate vintage perfume. In fact, I would love to find one that smells like this, as it's perfect for spring. All in all, a beautiful tribute to the Shakespearean character.
