The Englishman Gentleman's Shaving Soap
A wickedly proper gentleman's blend of glossy black leather, Earl Grey tea & peaty tobacco. Emphasis on wicked...
Don't be fooled by the exceptional manners & penchant for properly brewed tea. The Englishman is no nancy. He is devastating in his charm as well as in his fighting form, & quietly entertains a rather licentious array of habits. He carries with him the scent of fine tobacco (he keeps a packet of Margate in his coat pocket), boot polish, Italian bergamot & rakish musk. Not quite the sort of man you'd take home to Mother, no...
This listing is for a generous 4-ounce round of my luxurious glycerin soap, fortified with ultrafine bentonite clay for a smooth, comfortable shave. I use a hefty, round mold that sits handsomely in a shaving bowl, or you can lather up with your hands. The end result? Huge, stable lather, great slip & delicious scents to get you soft, smooth & ready for action. I hand cast in small batches with no SLS, propylene glycol, parabens, animal products or other funny stuff! Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too. My bars produce gorgeous, abundant lather & have unique scents that cling gently to your skin. You'll be left feeling clean & smelling fantastic. I hand-wrap each bar in cellophane, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer), Soy bean protein (conditioner), Bentonite, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance Oil, Iron Oxide
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. New to a good old fashioned wet shave? The guys at The Art of Manliness won't steer you wrong: http://artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/
