The Fusilier Hot Process Soap - Wool, Beer, Spices, Gun Oil... Coconut-Free Formula
The Fusilier Hot Process Soap
Warm, tweedy wool, ale, well-traveled spices, & a smudge of gun oil
Unlike his companion, The Englishman, our retired soldier isn't the sort to attract immediate attention. Quiet, reserved, perhaps a little set in his ways on occasion, he is most comfortable with a pint at his elbow & a good book in hand. Underneath that rumpled tweed jacket, however, is a man known across three continents for far more than just his professional prowess, armed with surprising strength, a sly wit, and a well oiled service revolver. He smells of cozy wool, rosewood, cedar, clove, & just a little danger. Bang, bang...
This listing is for one (1) enormous 5-ounce bar of hot process soap, made from scratch by me in my own workshop. If you find glycerin soaps a bit too drying, this is the bar for you. I've spent several months developing a coconut- & shea-free, vegan formula that lathers beautifully & is packed with nourishing vegetable oils & butters. I make my hot process soap in small batches, & allow each batch to cure for 3 weeks to ensure a firm, mild bar. Each hand-cut bar measures 3x3x1 inches, & weighs approximately 5 ounces.
As always, your soap will arrive hand-wrapped, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Water, Olive Oil, Organic & Sustainable Palm Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Mango Seed Butter, Castor Oil, Organic Palm Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Fragrance Oil, Gluten-free Oats, Mica
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. Hot process soap has a marbled, natural appearance. Streaks, swirls & blobs are all part of the charm, & in no way affect the quality of your soap :)

I received a sliver sample of this, and really enjoyed this. Guessing the notes, I thought oatmeal and petrichor, but looking at the notes now, yes, “tweed” is the perfect description. Unisex and cozy, very mild.
What a wonderful scent!

On your fella, this would be magnetic, especially if the guy had any mystery to him at all; use it for yourself and it's like he's wrapped his arms around you, even if he can't be there.
Love love love the Fusilier!

So the search for this soap and its scent came when I received a sample of "Watson" soap. Oh my, I savored my little sample, nurtured it until one day it slipped down the drain. I thought my life was over until I discovered it had been renamed and was now "Fusilier". Oh happy day, it has arrived and I will be using liberally so as to smell amazing.

This is possibly my favorite unisex/masculine scent ever. It's subtle and well-blended, but you can still get all the promised scent notes. I love it!
