Product Description

Waking the Witch Sorbetto Emulsifying Sugar Scrub - 2.5-ounce SAMPLE SIZE!

Smoldering, sticky resins, wrinkled apples drying over the fire, tea leaves & bitter berries packed in oil, & sacred jasmine & frangipani blossoms to scatter in the flames

Waking the Witch is a blend for the night of the soul, shapeshifting from dark sticky incense to jammy fruit & dry tea, through a cloud of heady florals & back to warm coals & woodsmoke. It's the smell of gathering revelations, of plans revealed, of lines crossed & power embraced. It's deep & wild & not here to please anyone but the stars as they whirl overhead.

We have been quiet & patient & good for a very long time. Enough of that. This blend is for all of us as we dig deep & find our voices & howl into the darkness & scrape at the sky.

Sorbetto is a delightfully malleable, scoopable sugar scrub fortified with nourishing rice bran, avocado & grape seed oils & luxurious mango butter. Massaged into wet skin, it emulsifies into a light, creamy lotion that gently cleanses, polishes & moisturizes, leaving you feeling deliciously soft & smelling wonderful...

Now you can take your favorite Paintbox Sorbettos on the go in handy 2.5-ounce sample sizes, perfect for pockets, purses & carryons! They also make excellent any-day gifts & stocking stuffers.

This listing is for a handy 2.5 ounces of emulsifying sugar scrub, blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or shea butter (for my sensitive customers). Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too! I don't whip my scrubs, so you get a jar packed with product, not air.

I pack Sorbetto in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:

Sucrose (Sugar), Glycerin, Aqua (Water), Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoyl/Lauroyl Isethionate, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Persea Americana (Avocado) Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Fragrance Oil, Sodium Chloride (Salt), Levulinic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Mica, Biodegradable Cosmetic-Grade Glitter

Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from jar to jar. To prolong the life of your Sorbetto, keep it tightly sealed & avoid introducing excess water to the jar. A clean plastic spoon is ideal for scooping out just the right amount :)

Please use Sorbetto within 3 months of opening, & discontinue use if irritation occurs. I specifically blend Sorbetto not leave a greasy film, but it may leave your tub a bit slippery, so do be careful :)

  1. Nostalgic

Posted by Amanda on Apr 18th 2020

This is a wonderful scent that hit me hard with nostalgia of being a teen sitting in my room reading Anne Rice while burning incense that smelled so much like this does.

As for the scrub itself, the texture is lovely, lightly exfoliating and suds up nicely, moisturizing but not oily. Already made a second order for a full size.

  2. Great scent!

I cannot live with sorbetto scrubs - best formulation ever, with great exfoliation that's not too greasy or harsh, no oily slippery shower. I love this scent for winter, especially - it's smokey and thick and complex.

  3. Straight incense

I love the sorbettos (scrubby, moisturizing, no added herbal bits that you have to pick out of your drain) so I'm sure it'll perform well on that front. The scent smells exactly like standing next to an incense stall at a market, like a smoky blend of all the different incense (so also a little like every headshop I've ever wandered into...). Also got a free experimental bath bomb sample of this scent that's bigger than the sample sorbetto I bought. Looking for to using it!

  4. The Perfect Scent for a Witch

Absolutely gorgeous -- this reminds me of Indian incense, the kind that seamlessly blends resins and florals together to create a scent both smoky and uplifting. Love this!
