What the Moon Brings Sorbetto Emulsifying Sugar Scrub

An eerie, heady blend of ghost pumpkin, coconut, white lilac & moonlit wormwood

She picked her way along the pale stones of the garden path, tiny unseen creatures rustling in the fragrant shadows. Her hands brushed against lacy plants & tender blossoms, releasing a sweet, spicy scent that was both alluring & vaguely unsettling. Huge white pumpkins shone ghostly in the darkness, draped with flowering vines & seeming to call down the full moon that hung ripe & low in the inky sky. She gazed up into its unearthly face, & felt exposed, as if the moon were seeing her, examining her, looming closer to pin her under its gaze. She gasped & turned back towards the suddenly distant house, only to find that the silvery green foliage had silently closed behind her, erasing the path, beginning to twine around her waist & ankles, drawing her into the heavily scented undergrowth, choking in its bittersweetness. Struggling, she cried out, but there was only the moon to hear her...

Sorbetto is a delightfully malleable, scoopable sugar scrub fortified with nourishing rice bran, avocado & grape seed oils & luxurious mango butter. Massaged into wet skin, it emulsifies into a light, creamy lotion that gently cleanses, polishes & moisturizes, leaving you feeling deliciously soft & smelling wonderful :)

This listing is for a generous 11 ounces of emulsifying sugar scrub, blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or shea butter (for my sensitive customers). Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too! I don't whip my scrubs, so you get a jar packed with product, not air. I pack Sorbetto in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:

Sucrose (Sugar), Glycerin, Aqua (Water), Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoyl/Lauroyl Isethionate, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Persea Americana (Avocado) Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Fragrance Oil, Sodium Chloride (Salt), Levulinic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Iron Oxide, Mica

Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from jar to jar. To prolong the life of your Sorbetto, keep it tightly sealed & avoid introducing excess water to the jar. A clean plastic spoon is ideal for scooping out just the right amount :) Please use Sorbetto within 3 months of opening, & discontinue use if irritation occurs. I specifically blend Sorbetto not leave a greasy film, but it may leave your tub a bit slippery, so do be careful :)

  1. Spookily Succulent

Ghost Pumpkin, Coconut, White Lilac, Wormwood.. sounds weird right?
It doesn't smell like a flowery PSL, and thank gawd, it doesn't.
Instead, your main notes are of the coconut and lilac, with the pumpkin giving a solid supporting role, with a hint, just a follow-up hint of the wormwood.
Its decidedly feminine, but not girly.
Its a weenie, but has the kind of scent you can use any season.

  2. Delightful

The sorbetto scrub formula is the best I've ever used, regardless of its fragrance; I have talked about this a lot before, but it is the only one for me, and I've used tons of exfoliating scrubs over the years. The PBSW sorbetto scrub smoothes the skin and doesn't leave a trail of oil or bits in your shower. I love this fragrance - it's perfect for fall and winter - and has a subtle yet cheeky quality.

  3. Beautiful and dangerous

Edward Gorey has a fabulous little horror story called "The Evil Garden" and I'd like to think he would have endorsed this as its official accompanying scent. It's a cool, sweet, creamy pumpkin with a hint of something ethereal and eerie in the background, both alluring and unnerving. Well done, Haley!
