Nearly every spring, I treat myself to a new heliotrope plant; it's become one of those seasonal rituals whose origins have been completely forgotten, but brings fresh delight each year. Heliotrope is also known as the cherry pie plant, for its distinctive scent of vanilla-ed cherries, and I stick my face in its tiny purple flowers every time I pass by. Some varieties are more cherry, some more musky vanilla, but my favorite has a little twist of aniseed that reminds me of lacy pizzelle cookies crumbled over cherry pie a la mode. My Heliotrope blend is juicy & tart, bakery-sweet, with a flutter of cottage garden flower petals, a fun and frivolous scent to celebrate summer.

This listing is for a handy 2.5 ounces of emulsifying sugar scrub, blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or shea butter (for my sensitive customers). Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too! I don't whip my scrubs, so you get a jar packed with product, not air.

I pack Sorbetto in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:

Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from jar to jar.

To prolong the life of your Sorbetto, keep it tightly sealed & avoid introducing excess water to the jar. A clean plastic spoon is ideal for scooping out just the right amount.

Please use Sorbetto within 3 months of opening, & discontinue use if irritation occurs. I specifically blend Sorbetto not leave a greasy film, but it may leave your tub a bit slippery, so do be careful.
