Product Description

Pick-a-Duck Shaving Soap

Pick a duck, try your luck!

Riotously sweet carnival treats of sticky strawberry taffy, hot sugared donuts, Cracker Jack, & a swirl of smoke from darkened tents

The scent of a day spent in the blistering sun, gorging yourself on all manner of deep-fried goodness & blowing your money on highly suspect games of chance, Pick-a-Duck is a sugar-sweet salute to summer's frivolity. Smoking hot, sugar encrusted donuts, fresh caramel corn & strawberry saltwater taffy with bits of paper still stuck to it count as a balanced lunch, right? I've snuck in the barest hint of saffron & honey-laced smoke as a nod to the darker carnival alleys where cards are laid & fortunes told... where will your luck fall?

This listing is for a generous 4-ounce round of my luxurious glycerin soap, fortified with ultrafine bentonite clay for a smooth, comfortable shave. I use a hefty, round mold that sits handsomely in a shaving bowl, or you can lather up with your hands. The end result? Huge, stable lather, great slip & delicious scents to get you soft, smooth & ready for action. I hand cast in small batches with no SLS, propylene glycol, parabens, animal products or other funny stuff! Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too. My bars produce gorgeous, abundant lather & have unique scents that cling gently to your skin. You'll be left feeling clean & smelling fantastic.

I hand-wrap each bar in cellophane, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:

Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer), Oat Protein (conditioner), Fragrance Oil, Bentonite, Titanium Dioxide, Mica

Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. New to a good old fashioned wet shave? The guys at The Art of Manliness won't steer you wrong: http://artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/
