Product Description
The Fusilier Shaving Soap
Warm, tweedy wool, ale, well-traveled spices, & a smudge of gun oil
Unlike his companion, The Englishman, our retired soldier isn't the sort to attract immediate attention. Quiet, reserved, perhaps a little set in his ways on occasion, he is most comfortable with a pint at his elbow & a good book in hand. Underneath that rumpled tweed jacket, however, is a man known across three continents for far more than just his professional prowess, armed with surprising strength, a sly wit, and a well oiled service revolver. He smells of cozy wool, rosewood, cedar, clove, & just a little danger. Bang, bang...
This listing is for a generous 4-ounce round of my luxurious glycerin soap, fortified with ultrafine bentonite clay for a smooth, comfortable shave. I use a hefty, round mold that sits handsomely in a shaving bowl, or you can lather up with your hands. The end result? Huge, stable lather, great slip & delicious scents to get you soft, smooth & ready for action. I hand cast in small batches with no SLS, propylene glycol, parabens, animal products or other funny stuff! Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too. My bars produce gorgeous, abundant lather & have unique scents that cling gently to your skin. You'll be left feeling clean & smelling fantastic.
I hand-wrap each bar in cellophane, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer), Oat Protein (conditioner), Fragrance Oil, Bentonite, Titanium Dioxide, Mica
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. New to a good old fashioned wet shave? The guys at The Art of Manliness won't steer you wrong: http://artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/

Excellent Shave Soap
Posted by Unknown on Sep 10th 2024
Has a subtle masculine smokey scent to it; good for those not wanting anything floral/fruity/fresh. Provides a decent shave too. Adequate lubrication and I don't get razor burn. I use it to shave my entire head and my wife likes the smell of it afterwards.

Best scent ever!

So the search for this soap and its scent came when I received a sample of "Watson" soap. Oh my, I savored my little sample, nurtured it until one day it slipped down the drain. I thought my life was over until I discovered it had been renamed and was now "Fusilier". Oh happy day, it has arrived and I will be sharing this bar with Darling Husband so we can both smell amazing.
