- After-Winter Soy Wax Melts - Bruised Mint, Cold Tea, Frozen Trails...
Product Description
After-Winter Soy Wax Melts - nifty re-sealable packaging!
Bruised spearmint leaves, cold pekoe tea, slushy mud and frozen leaf mold
It's not cold enough to be a snowy wonderland, but not warm enough for mud season, either... must be After-Winter! Here in Pennsylvania, spring always takes its sweet time, leaving us to languish in a chilly morass of partially melted snow dirtied by rotting leaves & road salt. It's a profoundly unsexy time of year, but sometimes the smell of peppery frost & wet earth hits just right. After-Winter tramples toothpaste-adjacent spearmint leaves into a sloppy slush of Indonesian patchouli, dank vetiver, & forgotten cups of tea for a blend that's both dirty & fresh, tannic & minty.
You begged, you pleaded, & Paintbox Soapworks found a way! Now you can enjoy your favorite Paintbox Soapworks scents throughout your home... I've blended my one-of-a-kind fragrances with a 100% soy and botanical oil formula, a creamy, biodegradable wax that is paraffin- & petroleum-free & delivers gentle, refreshing scent throw. To use, simply pop a melt or two into your tart burner of choice & enjoy as the heat releases a halo of beautiful, phthalate-free fragrance.
This listing is for a handy re-sealable clamshell of six (6) wax melts, weighing a total of appx 2.5 ounces.
PBSW Soy Wax Melts are made with a 100% soy and botanical oil formula & skin safe fragrance oils for a low impact scent experience. If you find commercial waxes overwhelming, PBSW might be right for you <3
*Please use caution around open flame, taking care to keep your burner away from drafts, loose clothing & fabric, pets & children. Melted wax is hot! Don't stick your tongue (or any other body part) in it! Do NOT add water to your burner, & do not leave your burner unattended. Be safe :)
Fire it up!

Spearmint Tea

It's definitely cold spearmint tea. It's a lovely fresh scent that is grounded by the mud and leaves. How do they make everything smell so good?

Mint slushie

Minty, like hot tea gone cold and somehow even more delicious, when it has just the right amount of sweetness left. Not a bracing, “wake up, it’s mint!” Much more comforting.

Good mint scent

Minty with an earthy something extra behind it. I like it, not too strong. It's not sweet at all, unlike many mint scents.

Truly Spectacular
Posted by Unknown on May 17th 2021
I'm so glad I took a chance on this scent! It's the fresh, green, earthy scent of my dreams. Truly there is nothing I have ever smelled like this, in the best way. I believe its the leaf mold that elevates this to magical. It reminds me of sitting on the steps of my grandpas basement. There is a musty element that is so nostalgic and satisfying. Yet its not a dirty smell, not at all. Its very refreshing and crisp. Please try it, you wont be disappointed!
