Bookkeeper's Butter to the rescue! Packed with nourishing shea butter & a panoply of skin-pampering oils, Bookkeeper's Butter is an intense hand & cuticle treatment for desperate times. I selected a very specific range of oils for maximum absorption speed, meaning Bookkeeper's Butter won't leave you stuck with greasy fingers when you need to get back to work. Gently scented with soothing lavender & peppermint essential oils, a little Bookkeeper's Butter goes a really long way - just a tiny dab massaged into dry, cracked skin & cuticles provides instant, non-greasy moisture. It can also pull double-duty as an intense lip balm. The jar might seem small, but it will go the distance! This particular formulation is vegan-friendly, using plant-based candelilla wax & no preservatives. The vitamin E oil will protect against oxidation, but please, keep Bookkeeper's Butter away from excess heat, & be sure to use dry clean hands to apply.

Absolutely the best

I love it so much I've bought some for everyone in the family. I work in a hospital and while those hand sanitizers and frequent hand washing guidelines are necessary, they're awful on my hands, especially in the winter. I started using some of this maybe a month ago and my hands are in WAY better shape than usual this year. The Libre scent is actually my favorite but this one is my son's preferred scent. My only wish is that there were a completely unscented version without and EOs for my eczema friends and family - I do get them the nihilist hand cream instead, though! This is such a quality product, ESPECIALLY for the price. I hope to never run out of it. Customer service is also the best; I added a message to my order to ask if there was a way to be notified about the Libre scent coming back in stock, and got a message almost immediately letting me know it would be ready soon, and offering to let me add it to my order. I love this little shop!!

My hiking friends look forward to receiving this gift every year. Our hands get very damaged by the cold and dry air. A little bookkeepers butter at night before bed goes a long way to restoring winter hands!

This stuff is so nice and starts working right away. I'm still trying to figure out the balance between too little so my skin immediately absorbs it and too much where it takes a little while to get absorbed by my skin. It does have a distinctly herbal minty sort of smell for sure, which is what I would expect, but it's not overpoweringly strong like I've experienced with other products with similar ingredients. I absolutely agree with everyone who cautions that a little bit goes a long way here. The first time I used it, I absolutely over-applied. Would definitely get again.

This salve rubs in very quickly and soothes dry skin that I get from cold weather and handling boxes every day. And it smells amazing!

Heavy duty balm

Oh man, this is good stuff! I'm going to save this for fall/winter or bedtime though because it's seriously really heavy duty. The peppermint is also pretty strong so be aware if you're wearing it around others!

My hands and fingers get dried out and my cuticles get ragged so I'm always looking for heavy duty balms to put on them at night. This feels and smells great, and is excellent for smoothing onto your hands at bedtime.

I handle books all day, this is one of the best products I have found to keep my hands from drying out. It also works great for muscle aches and pains, I get aches from sleeping wrong quite often, and massaging this into the area really helps it quit hurting! 10/5 stars!

This salve is wonderful! Since I’m in healthcare I am constantly washing my hands & drying them out. This soothes the dryness away!!!
