It's a small arc of sand in a protected inlet, ringed by huge rounded boulders & picturesque seaside mansions. The water is calm & the bottom smooth, perfect for little legs to explore. We spent hours digging in the grey sand, haring up & down the water line & dodging the curtains of red seaweed & kelp that floated in the shallows. It was a perfect pause in what had been a wonderful but busy holiday, & we lingered in the waves almost until sunset.
