Product Description
Rice Pudding Shaving Soap
Creamy basmati rice cooked long & slow with vanilla-scented condensed milk & cinnamon sticks
Rice pudding gets a bad rap for being gummy, pallid, a milquetoast excuse for dessert... But made properly, using fragrant rice & whole spices, it's a thing of beauty & comfort & domestic bliss. My Rice Pudding blend smells of thick sugary milk, vanilla beans & cinnamon bark, with that unmistakable floral warmth of basmati rice. If you sniff really closely, you might find the bits of dried apricot I like to sneak in my real-life rice pudding, too.
Seriously. Don't eat the soap.
This listing is for a generous 4-ounce round of my luxurious glycerin soap, fortified with ultrafine bentonite clay for a smooth, comfortable shave. I use a hefty, round mold that sits handsomely in a shaving bowl, or you can lather up with your hands. The end result? Huge, stable lather, great slip & delicious scents to get you soft, smooth & ready for action. I hand cast in small batches with no SLS, propylene glycol, parabens, animal products or other funny stuff! Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too. My bars produce gorgeous, abundant lather & have unique scents that cling gently to your skin. You'll be left feeling clean & smelling fantastic. I hand-wrap each bar in cellophane, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer), Oat Protein (conditioner), Bentonite, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance Oil, Cinnamon
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. New to a good old fashioned wet shave? The guys at The Art of Manliness won't steer you wrong: http://artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/
