Product Description

The Bees' Lament Soy Wax Melts - re-sealable packaging!

A melancholy autumn blend of pollen-dusted chrysanthemums, scarlet leaves & aged sandalwood, a twist of gardener's twine & the honeyed musk of bees

“Bees do have a smell, you know, and if they don't they should, for their feet are dusted with spices from a million flowers.” - Ray Bradbury, Dandelion Wine

The Bees' Lament captures that special sadness of autumn, of dwindling sunlight & fading gardens. It's a musky, honeyed floral cut with vegetal notes of maple leaf & hemp & beautiful aged sandalwood. It's the setting sun shining golden through overgrown fields, slow bees bumbling among the glittering grasses in search of the last of the season's flowers. The Bees' Lament is feminine, languorous, and a beautiful tribute to our apian friends...

  1. Honeycomb and Thorns

This scent is perfectly named. For me it calls to mind red roses and beeswax candles with a hint of the melancholy sweetness of old book smell. If this scent had a song, it would be "Skellig" by Loreena McKennitt. Achingly beautiful without overpowering.
