Product Description
The Queen is Dead Hair & Perfume Oil - NEW!
The Queen is dead! Long live the Queen! Blackened honey, glossy leather & a glittering swirl of smoke rising from the earth...
This is a truly wicked blend, inspired by the enormous black bees that hold forth in our garden as the earth scorches in the late summer heat... Sweet but sinister, and certainly not for the faint of heart, The Queen is the perfect armor for those days you need to kick butt AND take names.
It's only taken me ten years, but your PBSW dreams have come true: a whisper-light, -cone-free hair oil formula meets luxuriously lush perfume oil for a full-body PBSW experience! Daikon radish extract is an amazing alternative to traditional silicones, providing silky shine & skin-feel without build-up or environmental concerns, Meadowfoam seed oil provides excellent scent retention plus a massive dose of antioxidants, meaning your PBSW scents will stick around both in the bottle & on your skin. Argan & jojoba oils team up to treat your hair, your scalp, & your skin with gentle moisture, & a tiny drizzle of isopropyl myristate keeps things from getting greasy. Your favorite PBSW blends, made from quality, vetted, phthalate-free synthetic fragrance oils & essential oils, are added at a percentage that gives delicious throw without the risk of dermal irritation or gassing your coworkers out of the elevator.
The end result? A light-as-air powerhouse oil blend that delivers your favorite PBSW scents without dripping, smudging or spilling, in a sleek bottle that's ready for your bag or pocket but pretty enough to display!
To use as a hair oil, roll lightly into the palm of your hand, then apply with your hands or fingers as desired. For best results, concentrate on the ends of your hair, rather than the scalp.
To use as a perfume oil, apply directly to pulse points, taking care to avoid irritated, broken, or inflamed skin. I always recommend testing a small amount on the inside of your elbow before committing to a full slathering. Discontinue use if irritation occurs; please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
This listing is for one (1) .3 ounce glass roller bottle of hand made hair & perfume oil, blended by hand in small batches, with oil resistant labels, & shrink wrapped for your safety.
As always, all ingredients are clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Raphanus Sativus (Radish) Seed Extract, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fragrance Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Tocopherol
Keep away from direct sunlight & extreme temperatures, & use within three years of purchase.

Absolutely Impressed (yet again)!

I ordered the fragrance ' English Gentleman', along with the fragrances ' The Queen is Dead' and ' Kattegat', and was ever impressed by the quality and luxurious scents that were present in the perfume oil. I've been a loyal customer to Paintbox Soapworks for close to a decade, and have always splurged and ordered her soaps, scrubs because of the quality of the products and the exceptionally fabulous scents that delight. This perfume oil is wonderful for myself and my husband to use because we both enjoy the soaps so much, that we decided to purchase the perfume oils! Highly recommend to buy for yourself, or anyone special, truly it'll be an unforgettable gift.

Perfection

I've been using The Queen is Dead in various formats - soap, lotion, scrub, for several years now and am super thrilled that it's available as a perfume oil. The oil itself is lightweight, easy to apply, and has great longevity and medium/high throw. The scent itself? Incredible. A gorgeous mix of heady leather, spiced honey, and smoke (while not being a 'campfire' sort of scent). It's sexy, unusual, and completely unisex, while being a little on the sweet side. I wear it when I want to feel my most powerful. The scent of the queen of wands. Thank you Hayley!

The only scent J will wear

I have been wearing and purchasing this scent ( The Queen is Dead) for a decade now, and I still love it just as much now as I did when I first disovered it 10 years ago, on 2010. The scent is sinister- not sweet exactly, but certainly alluring in its mystery. The notes are warm, earthy, and rich without being overpowering or too much. I wish PBSW so much prosperity- I will continue to purchase The Queen is Dead until it stops being made- my wife and extended family all associate it with me; I have taken it as my signature scent and refuse to wear anything else. PBSW makes high quality, boutique products that are made in small batches (to my understanding). They are beautifully and carefully packaged and presented in an inviting and completely professional manner. I can't express enough how much I adore this brand! 10/10!

Amazeballs!

Fragrance oils!!!!! Y E S. The fragrances of these are slightly different to in the soaps (in a GOOD way), because they are more concentrated and "pure", in a way. Very yum (don't eat the soap). Queen Is Dead is a perfect mix of wood smoke and honey, one of my favourites!

Fantastic

I've waited a long time for PBSW to finally make fragrance oils, and this scent was the one I most wanted!
It starts out with the familiar leather, but almost cotton candy/sugary sweet as opposed to the honey sweetness in the soap/lotion. But it's still gorgeous, and does eventually dry down into the smoky honey and leather I've loved for years. And by the end of the day when it's still not quite gone smells like the best incense in the world.
