In a deep pocket of the rambling woods, there is a house. Well, not so much a house, as a house-shaped jumble of fallen trees, overgrown with brambles and twisted vines, beloved by all the birds & woodland creatures that dart in & out of its shadows. There is an old, ornate rug hung across the semblance of a doorway, and scrubby herbs planted in broken crockery ramble up bundles of branches tied into rough arbors. There is another witch in these woods, one you go to when your heart is hard & full of claws, sharp and feral. In this grove, green and alive, is the witch you come to when you need to float for a while on herb-laced smoke, to fly & forget, to share an apple pipe with one who has seen the world burn and been there to tend the seeds as they push through the ashes after the first rain of spring.
This listing is for a generous 4-ounce round of my luxurious glycerin soap, fortified with ultrafine bentonite clay for a smooth, comfortable shave. I use a hefty, round mold that sits handsomely in a shaving bowl, or you can lather up with your hands. The end result? Huge, stable lather, great slip & delicious scents to get you soft, smooth & ready for action. I hand cast in small batches with no SLS, propylene glycol, parabens, animal products or other funny stuff! Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too. My bars produce gorgeous, abundant lather & have unique scents that cling gently to your skin. You'll be left feeling clean & smelling fantastic.
I hand-wrap each bar in cellophane, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer), Oat Protein (conditioner), Fragrance Oil, Bentonite, Titanium Dioxide, Mica
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. New to a good old fashioned wet shave? The guys at The Art of Manliness won't steer you wrong: http://artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/
