The Cartographer Wasp Bath Streusel - Varnished Oak, Benzoin, Cassia, Vanilla Oud...
Product Description
The Cartographer Wasp Bath Streusel
Varnished oak inlaid with shining brass, caramelized benzoin, a dry hum of cassia, & blackened vanilla oud
The wasp worked, glossy body curled over the delicate map tacked carefully to the floor with dots of resin. Around it, the heat and thrum of the hive made the air thicken and the pulse jump, but still it labored, its glossy stinger scratching gently against the paper's grain. Occasionally, it paused, plucking at compass and calipers, antennae giving a calculated twitch, before returning stinger to ink, ink to paper. If the colony were to survive, even thrive in this new land, its memories must be preserved. The maps must be remade.
Based loosely on the award-winning short story The Cartographer Wasps & the Anarchist Bees by E. Lily Yu
Bath Streusel is a moist, crumbly treat for your tub! Bath lovers, rejoice! At last, a product packed with skin-loving butters plus all the fizz & bubble of your favorite bath bombs & bubble bars! Bath Streusel is a delightful mashup of bath melt, bubble bar & bath bomb, in your favorite Paintbox scents. Add a handful to the tub as you run a nice hot bath & watch the bubbles grow! Once in the tub, you'll get the benefit of water-softening baking soda & citric acid, plus silky arrowroot powder & a gentle surfactant. I add a ton of organic cocoa butter & mango butter & a drizzle of rice bran oil to pamper your skin, leaving you feeling undeniably soft & smelling fantastic!
Many bubble baths & bars use harsh surfactants to make big bubbles - great for washing dishes, not so great for your delicate skin. I use sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, a very mild, gentle surfactant that gives great bubbles without wreaking havoc on your skin. This listing is for one 6.6-ounce jar of Bath Streusel, enough for 3-4 baths. It's blended by hand in small batches with no SLS/SLES, parabens, propylene glycol, -cones, animal products, coconut oil or shea butter (for my sensitive customers). Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too! I pack Bath Streusel in a recyclable plastic jar, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Arrowroot Powder, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Organic Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Fragrance Oil, Mica, Sugar-based Decos
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from jar to jar. To prolong the life of your Bath Streusel, keep it tightly sealed & avoid introducing any water to the jar. A clean plastic spoon is ideal for scooping out just the right amount. Please use Bath Streusel within 3 months of opening, & discontinue use if irritation occurs. The butters & oils in Bath Streusel will leave your tub a bit slippery, so do be careful.
